August General Meeting
Please join us this month as we welcome
Senator Brandon Creighton
Protecting Our State’s Soft Targets from Attack
MCRW is proud to host Texas State Senator Brandon Creighton, District 4, which encompasses parts of Montgomery, Harris, Chambers, Jefferson and Galveston Counties.
Sen. Creighton will focus his remarks on security in our state. Specifically how Texas is protecting its soft targets, like our electric grid and schools, from attack. How ready is our state to handle this type of attack and what can citizens do to help?
Brandon Creighton was sworn into the Texas State Senate on August 26, 2014 and while there he has earned a reputation as one of the most conservative, hardworking and effective legislators at the Texas Capitol.
During his tenure as Senator he has taken the lead on key issues including franchise and property tax relief, water and transportation infrastructure and border security. He’s also been a staunch defender of Second and Tenth Amendment rights for Texas and her citizens.
Before election to the Texas Senate, Brandon Creighton served as State Representative for District 16 where his peers elected him to Chairman of the Texas House Republican Caucus.
Brandon Creighton is an eighth-generation Montgomery County resident, where he resides with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys Texas history, sports, hunting and fishing.
