Do you know what’s really going on in Washington?  What’s the truth about Healthcare, Taxes, the Economy and Fake News?  What’s your issue?  Join us on August 24 for an update.

Kevin Brady proudly serves the 8th Congressional District of Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives. Spanning nine counties in the greater Houston area, the 8th District is home to a robust local economy driven by hardworking families, businesses of all sizes, and industries representing every sector of the U.S. economy.

As a lifelong conservative, Kevin fights for economic freedom and is committed to the principles of free enterprise, individual liberty, and constitutionally limited government. Throughout his time in Congress, he has served as a strong, vocal leader focused on advancing fiscally responsible solution to grow our economy and rein-in the size and reach of the federal government.

Kevin serves as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, offering the people of the 8th District a prominent voice on critical issues facing our nation. With jurisdiction over taxes, health care, Social Security, Medicare, international trade, and welfare, Ways and Means is considered one of the most powerful committees in Congress. In fact, it is the only congressional committee to derive its jurisdiction directly from the U.S. Constitution.

In 2016, the Ways and Means Committee led three important parts of Speaker Paul Ryan’s “Better Way” initiative. Under Kevin’s leadership, the Committee helped craft detailed policy proposals to fight poverty and repeal and replace Obamacare.  Kevin also led the Committee’s effort to deliver a pro-growth tax reform blueprint that will help grow our economy and improve the lives of all Americans.
